Men’s Digital Watch

I really like that it’s entirely black except for the hands, makes it super easy to read at a glance. Auto Return Features • If you leave the watch with a flashing setting on the display for two or three minutes without performing any operation, the watch will exit the setting mode automatically. • The watch will return to the Timekeeping Mode automatically if you do not perform any operation for two or g shock watch three minutes in the Alarm Mode. Also take care that sudden illumination by the auto light switch does not startle or distract others around you. • • • • • When you are wearing the watch, make sure that its auto light switch is turned off before riding a bicycle or operating a motorcycle or any other motor vehicle. A lap time reading shows the time elapsed since the last lap time reading was taken.

Yes, it has a digital screen too, which to tell you the truth is hard to read in direct sunlight. A cool thing for those who like a dual-display is that they can switch from showing the month and date to showing the time instead. Personally, I use this feature because I can have a connection with my watch when I want to know the date.

The illumination system is based on a poor LED light which only makes the two digital displays visible, not the index hands; so you will not be able to read the hour in very dark environments. Also, the alarms are loud enough for most situations but not as loud as I expected. The G-Shock GA100 is one very affordable watch which comes with a great design and a lot of useful features for the active outdoor person. Its main strong point is the value for the money, considering that on this price point you wouldn’t expect much from other brands. Based on the thousands of positive reviews that it received over time, I consider it is one of those watches that meet all expectations.

G-shock GA-100 is another example of this consistent habit. Here comes another model with a traditional and sleek rugged big case design which continues to add more to the reputation of G-shock watches. Fooling around with battery changes, ac reset, adjustment screws etc – these things are okay on a used watch outside return period.

Living up to G-Shock’s reputation for big case designs, comes a revolution in case size with the introduction of the X-Large GA100-1A1. This Ana-Digi, “three-eyed” monster measure baby g shock in at a whopping 55 x 51.2 x 16.9mm size, with an attention to detail, that is second to none. The GA100-1A1 has become a staple in the ever expanding G-Shock family.

Other functions the watch has are pretty standard Casio G-Shock fare. Calendar, timer, alarms, world time, auto LED, chiming features, and lots of durability. The Japanese quartz movement is a lot of what you expect in Casio watches.

Just because it’s new to you doesn’t mean that battery hasn’t been in there a while. Add it to your watch portfolio and see your collection’s value over time. I HATE that they don’t have the digital display doesn’t have a backlight. The adjustable strap of GA 100 has 2 lines of many holes to fit a wide range of wrist sizes. The 22mm band width doesn’t make this oversized watch look disproportionate, because the case-band transition is very smooth. It is most likely the black GA100-1A1, but it could be a variation with slightly different colors like the GA100MB-1A or GA100L-1A, both with different dark green accents.

Check out the GA-2100, it’s much more readable and it has two lights, a separate one for the digital display and a separate one for the analog hands. Cost should be around the same as for the GA-110, or just a tiny bit more for the GA-2100. What I really don’t like about those 2 models is there is no backlight for the digital display. There is an led for the analog but I’ve never been very satisfied with them. Needless to say, the No.1 character that drives users to the G Shock watches is their superb toughness.
