Lancôme Trésor Wins 2021 Fragrance Foundation Hall Of Fame Award

I love all iterations but prefer vintage for its dryness. The powdery peach in the vintage is more beautiful and it lasts longer. Last night, I dreamed of my secret crush. I haven’t seen him for 5 years, and when I did, I was wearing Tresor. Last night, I thought I caught a waft of Tresor on my duvet, although, maybe I dreamed it, because I couldn’t smell it in the morning. I caught a sudden waft of Tresor, and my dreams were soaked in the scent, and with him.

It was lush and very sunny to me back then and distinctly feminine without fail. My mother was one of the most casual but feminine and understated women I’ve ever Estee Lauder NIGHT REPAIR known, so she was not one to wear fragrance. She loved the body products in this scent, and I gifted it to her often so it’s also come to remind me of her.

After receiving a sample of Lancome’s Tresor I decided to use it when my husband and I attended a friend’s wedding. I received plenty of compliments and lots of people asked what perfume I was wearing because they loved it! I still use my body sprays but I know use Tresor when I go out to dinner, or a movie, for special occasions, or any time that I want to feel extra sexy! The scent makes me feel confident and I love the fact that it isn’t so strong that it’s the only thing that people notice when I walk in the room.

I especially enjoyed the note of vanilla I finally noticed among the fruit and flowers. I realised that the sillage is much nicer to me than the smell on Estee Lauder makeup skin. There’s just too much going on for me. One moment I’m smelling a jumble of fruits, the next some powdery floral fruity something vanilla soap suds.

We do not accept online returns in stores. Tresor has been my favorite and only cologne I have used for many years (11+). I always look forward to special deals to keep in supply. When the price is right, I jump on it! Tresor has a wonderful aroma and is long lasting. I frequently receive compliments on how good I smell.

And yes, it absolutely can be called “classy”. It has quite a seriously sharp, “dry”, and spicy woody fruit notes and flower notes, rather than an usual feminine, fun, girlie floral, or fruity sweetness and softness. The original Tresor has something very womanly and motherly about it. Its got a lipsticky, waxy, powdery, makeup smell, blended with rose and fleshy apricot or peach, with an amber/vanilla drydown.
